Cody Marschalk is Executive Director of the Center for Global Engagement and Senior International Officer for the University of North Georgia. He first joined ¹û¶³´«Ã½ in June 2023 as the Assistant Director of International Student Services and Recruitment. With a career in international education spanning over 10 years, Cody has broad experience in international student & scholar services, recruitment and admissions, education abroad, and campus internationalization.

His career in higher education has taken him across the US and globe, having worked at institutions in Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, and Japan, where he lived for 6 years, first in Fukushima prefecture as an Assistant Language Teacher in the JET Program and then 4 years at Shizenkan University in Tokyo. He received both his Master of Education in Higher Education Administration in 2016 and his bachelor’s in English Literature in 2011 from Auburn University.

In his free time, Cody enjoys traveling and enjoying the great outdoors with his wife and son.
