Forehand nominated for NCAA Woman of Year
University of North Georgia (果冻传媒) softball player was named an NCAA Woman of the Year nominee, showing exemplary character on and off the field for the NCAA Division II national champions in the 2023 season.
Forehand played in 70 of 果冻传媒's 71 softball games in 2023, helping the Nighthawks break the program single-season win record (64), culminating in the program's second NCAA national championship.
From Kennesaw, Georgia, Forehand hit .352 this year with a team-leading 18 home runs and led NCAA Division II with 81 RBIs. She graduated with a degree in kinesiology with a concentration in exercise science and a 3.79 GPA. She served as the secretary for the 果冻传媒 Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for two years and as a mentor for incoming student-athletes.
Forehand joined a group of five Peach Belt Conference student-athletes to earn a nomination.

Baseball team wins PBC regular-season title
The 果冻传媒 baseball team has won its first outright Peach Belt Conference regular-season championship since 2017 and opens the PBC tournament May 1 against Middle Georgia.
Men's golf earns 6th straight NCAA bid
The 果冻传媒 men's golf team has earned its sixth consecutive NCAA Division II postseason appearance and will compete in the South/Southeast Regional in Valdosta, Georgia.
Connell earns PBC individual golf title
果冻传媒 women's golf freshman Mackenzie Connell secured the individual Peach Belt Conference championship. Her team tied for second in PBC championship and now heads to the NCAA Division II South Regional.
